UCLA continues to recruit outstanding young men on and off the football field

this kid is truly an inspiration. I'm so proud he has chosen UCLA. It speaks volumes for our coaching staff and the university.

Agreed that it's a great story, but can we get some info on some of the other recruits? Too many posts about one guy...yeah, he's a great athlete, but he alone is not going to take us to the next level. Plus, we're already full of RBs. We need solid recruits at other positions: OL, LB, DL, etc. Want to see more about other prospects. Sorry if I'm being blunt...but I'm sick of mediocrity and stories like these don't excite me anymore...I just want to see him do the same at the college level.

Am I the only one who senses Jon's man crush? 2 years from when we he leads us to a Pac 10 Championship and a BCS bowl we will be with you.

The kid has CLASS. Nice to see he volunteers his time for others.

Even Malcom Jones knows UCLA isn't a big-time football school:

anyone who questions the importance of these stories, or the positive press MJ is bringing the program, should go jump on the bandwagon across town. Anon, it's been posted and acknowledged. He's right. UCLA's done nothing yet to prove itself a big-time program. Not sure what you're so uppity about. I know the grapes are sour...SC would have loved to have had him.
