Just got off the phone with Dan Wood, Owamagbe Odighizuwa's head coach at Douglas (Portland) High, and Owa is NOT committed to UCLA, nor will he commit to any school until after Christmas.
Owa is at a basketball tournament, and Wood said the rumors flying around are untrue.

As to "silent commitments"...My understanding is this- A recruit indicates that he has for all intentions committed to UCLA and has simply/officially requested coaching staff to keep that committment "silent" until he is ready to announce. So how does anyone other than THAT player, the COACHING STAFF, or FAMILY come to be in the know? How is it that you, Jon, are made aware of impending news?
