Post-practice update
* Another day of high-energy, low-expectation practice on Monday, with players laughing it up and the coaching staff very upbeat.
* Richard Brehaut again got an extended look at practice and had some interesting things to say about the importance of this week in his overall progression as a quarterback. Will follow with that later.
* Several seniors took a backseat to the freshmen and sophomores who continue to get increased time early this week in preparation for next season.
* Josh Smith and Ricky Marvray looked great out there the last couple days.
* Practice ended a little early as the team took buses to the Staple Center for the Clippers-Wizards game.

what offense did the players commit in order to be punished by having to watch the Clippers play?
LOL
Clippers vs. Wizards?? Nueheisel must be unhappy with the effort in practice and is punishing the team.
How much is the Clippers Organization paying the team to come watch? Is this how the team fundraisers nowadays?
Jon,
Can Josh Smith play in the bowl game?
BigTime
no he can not
LOL. C'mon Jon. Can you elaborate on Josh Smith and Marvray? Do you think either one could potentially overtake Embry or Rosario? Bullet Points? Ugh
When will the Bruins take buses to Rim of the World High School to practice under stimulated D.C. conditions of cold, snow and ice?
This is not about winning the bowl game. This bowl game is meaningless. We may probably get spanked by Temple because of the anemic offense produced by this team. This is all about getting an extra 3 weeks practice.

sounds like the coaches want our boys to have some fun while getting ready to kick Temple's bee-hinds. I like that approach.
Well, UCLA has "I'm Going To College" promotion to bring young kids who, by the look of them, will never set foot in college to the Rose Bowl to see a game.
Maybe this is the Clippers "I'm Going To Be A Pro" promotion for young kids who will never set foot on a pro football field.
Brehaut had some interesting things to say...can you elaborate?
Is there a sense that Prince might go on his mission, leaving Brehaut as the potential starter?

You went that far for a joke and it sucked that bad? Keep your day job.
If you want Lakers tickets you have to win the Pac-10.
Heard they're going to all sorts of things this week....six flags...leno.....etc
All that practice time doesn't mean a thing if the players aren't showing they're getting coached up.
Winning the game is important. Not in the grand scheme, but to UCLA. A winning record and momentum heading into the last part of recruiting then Spring.
