Price at No. 30 on McShay's latest mock draft

| | Comments (3) |

From ESPN.com:

Minnesota Vikings Record: 11-2

Brian Price*, DT, UCLA
Price is said to be leaning toward entering the upcoming draft. He's a quick and powerful defender who could provide some much-needed depth behind aging starters Kevin Williams and Pat Williams.

#30 in a mock draft is not high enough to be convinced that Brian should enter the draft. That said, I would advise him to come back for his senior year and enter next years draft as a definite first round pick! The difference in money and playing time is SIGNIFICANT! The same thing was told to Jake Lockyer of Washington.

I doubt Locker was told the same thing as he was almost certainly a top 5 pick this season. It's unlikely that Locker's decision to stay for his senior season will result in significantly increased playing time his rookie season or a higher paycheck.
