You've got questions...
I've got answers...

Fire away, and if there are enough questions by tomorrow, you'll get the dish sooner than later. There are a few left over from last week that I'll get to, also.

The bball team actually had a decent showing against #1 Kansas, they kept it close for most of the game and were even threatening a few times. Is it possible this team is actually BETTER in some ways since Drew Gordon left?

Would you say that Rick Neuheisel burned Randall Carroll's redshirt to send a message to Carroll and possibly other players on public behavior?

i am starting to think this year's troubles may be good in one way: it is forcing CBH to finally be more flexible in terms of changing his schemes (defense, and hopefully offense) and giving minutes to the players that show the most effort, rather than by seniority. agree or disagree?

Did you notice that the Pac-10 commercials removed Tiger Woods from their commercials?

Is it me or did Rick Neuheisel seem to age quite a bit during the season?

You mentioned that the Coliseum crowd got under the skin of the UCLA football team. How so?

Mr. Gold, I am a big time USC fan and I am not here to upset the UCLA fanbase, but my question is how is UCLA viewing the rebuilding USC season? Does it feel that they are getting closer to the same talent level or that UCLA maybe missed their best chance to defeat USC? Thank you in advance.

Any real word on whether Brian Price is leaning towards staying or heading to the NFL this year?

Is Mobley supposed to finish at the JC in December and start at UCLA in January, or not finish until June and join UCLA in the summer?

I think Howland had to stand his ground or lose the team with regard to Drew Gordon. A single bad attitude is poison to a team and if Howland had caved to talent, he would have lost respect. Do you believe this to be the case, or do you think Howland needs to learn to bend, and cater to individuals more?

With Honeycutt back, will Jerime move to the bench? I can't see him starting over Roll, Lee and Honeycutt.

As an aside, ever think about changing the name of the website? You can do some fun and interesting titles especially with your last name. I smell a viewer poll...

Brian Kelly told his players last Thursday that he was not going to leave Cincinnati and today he tweets that he's going to interview with Notre Dame.

Why would a coach tell people that he's not interested for a head coaching job and end up interviewing?

I think that Roll would be better at point than anyone now playing;do you agree?

It is a HUGE disappointment, but I am planning to go to the Emerald Nut Bowl this year instead of the BCS Championship Game. Do you have any recommendations for any good restuarants or nightclubs I can visit while in San Francisco? I heard the Castro gets pretty hot. Thanks in advance.

Jon, great job you do with the blog. Thank you. What do you think about Charlie Weis' comments regarding Pete Carroll living with a graduate student in Malibu? Who has the bigger Ego, Charlie or throw-the-bomb Pete?

Hi Jon,

How much of voting for the POY by coaches recognition and also trying to pump a player up so they may be more inclined to turn pro. I am sure, many Pac10 coaches don't want to see Price stay for his sr season.

You didn't answer my question last week, Jon. Don't know why. I'll try again. What happened to Carrie Rubertino, the men's basketball trainer for the past few years? Thank you.

Jon,
it appears there may be many head coaching vacancies this year, one at San Jose State and possibly Stanford if Harbaugh is wooed to the Dome.
Realizing that coach Chow's compensation was subsidized by the Titans for the last two seasons and the budget cuts implemented by the state of California, will the school be able to retain him at his current pay or does Coach Chow still have an itch to be scratched (head coach position)?

Is Xavier Su'a Filo still planning on going on his LDS mission next year?

I read somewhere that Jayson Allmond may be tried at Mike. If that were to happen, would the coaches look at trying Golper at Fullback? I saw him play at Arcadia and he had great hands and was actually one of their top receivers two years in a row and I think he played fullback as a sophomore. His high school highlight tapes on Scout show him catching a lot of passes

Jon,

Any word on how DeWayne Walker did at NMSU? Looks like a 3-10 season, any idea if that was a successful one. Also seems as though he's looking for a new RB coach and OC, anyone from UCLA going to get a look?

Why are some teams playing 13 games?

Thanks,
Jeremy
