Cassius Marsh on official visit to UCLA
Just heard that Oaks Christian DL Cassius Marsh is on an official visit to UCLA this weekend. Two weeks ago he told me he was not interested in the Bruins. Guess something changed between now and then...

Do you know if Rielly is on campus or did he go to $uc for his visit? Marsh would be a hugepick up on the DL if we can get him.
IMO, Marsh will end up a Bruin.
He has interest in UCLA, despite what he was saying publicly at the Army All-American game.
Lot of people at Oaks Christian have heard this.
Come on Malcom recruit this guy!
Jon - Do you know if D. Reily ended up taking an unofficial to UCLA today?
Do not get your panties in a bunch bruin fans. 4-5 star athletes consider UCLA but they commit to USC. You do not need to worry Marsh is going to LSU. Thanks for all your fodder over the past week, but remember who owns the ROSE Bowl and it is not a cuddle bear. Fight on... pray for the hail mary... and count the USC national championships. Thanks for keeping it classy Westwood.
Hey Gold, how do you know CM wasn't lying to you?
D. Riley is at UCLA this weekend. Go to Pauley and you can see him with your own eyes.
Maybe he just wants to go to the UCLA/USC BBall game for free?
D. Riley said he's at ucla for the day on his facebook page!!!

From Cali:
Hey USCFORLIFE,
We can have the accolades $ucville has if we chose to follow your cheating ways for the last several decades. How quick you forget how you reached such achievements.
Now you have 'lane violation' as your HC so enjoy the ride, lol. You guys were and are so desperate that you had to make up rumors about hiring Chow. I guess we got the last laugh.
Personally I can care less about Marsh. If he is a Bruin we will welcome him with open arms, if not good luck to him.
By the way, have fun when the NCAA drops the hammer on you. The sanctions should be something to remember!
USCFORLIFE:
If SUC is SO great, then WTF are you doing over here? Bruin ENVY?
4-5 star athletes only consider UCLA? Have you seen our list of commits the last 3 years, including the ones that flipped from SUC to UCLA?
Marsh going to LSU? I'm sure you will be back here to eat some crow if you are proven wrong. Right?
Enjoy watching my Bruins spank your Condoms today.
Keep it classy South Central.
BTW,
According to Dietrich Riley's Facebook update on his page an hour ago, "UCLA for the DAY".
http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1395663279&ref=search&sid=545361192.1302434452..1#/profile.php?v=wall&ref=search&id=1395663279
I know Dietrich is a visit whore, but I think it's huge that he dissed SUCs big recruiting day and an official visit there, for an unofficial visit to UCLA.
GO BRUINS!!!!
I just saw Stan Hasiak with the team, behind CRN, during the Half Time Eagle Bank Bowl Trophy presentation and speech.
Jon,
Does this mean Stan is back?
Riley just wanted a free ticket to the beatdown at Pauley.
USCFORLIFE - "but remember who owns the ROSE Bowl" ??? Yea, how'd the Rose Bowl work out for you this year? I too was as upset as you must have been when they changed the Rose Bowl to San Francisco and the NCAA's subtle way of pronouncing Rose when they spelled it just like Emerald. In case you don't know, that's not how to spell rose. I can see your mistake if you played for SC though. The entrance exam for football players consists of one question.
Old McDonald had a _______. They can usually answer farm, but they spell it E I E I O.
Now I root for SC when they don't play UCLA (because they're from southern California and are part of the PAC 10), but come on dude do you actually believe what you're saying or are you just waiting for one of your teammates to hand you what everyone there smokes?
USC fans are back not to eat crow but to serve YOU some of the S*** that Howland served up today....Cassius Marsh exclaimed his love for LSU last week at the Army All American game, but I wouldn't expect any misinformed Bruins fans to know that. These kids each get 5 FREE visits to schools, don't you think they're going to take them? WHERE IS THE BASKETBALL MONOPOLY IN LA? OUR BASKETBALL TEAM HAS A NEW COACH, WORSE RECRUITING CLASS AND IS ON PROBATION AND STILL WON BY 21 POINTS...ITS NOT BRUIN ENVY BUT THE COMEDY OF IT ALL THAT BRINGS US HERE. AND BY THE WAY YOU CAN HAVE RANDALL CARROLL AND MORELL PRESSLEY IF THAT'S WHO YOU'RE REFERRING TO...THEY'LL BE KICKED OFF THE TEAM IN NO TIME ANYWAY.
There is always a double standard with UCLA fans. They come over the the USC blog and spew unwarranted and factless, profanity laden venom. when i make a coherent argument I am vilified. There is no envy, my cardinal and gold roots run deep. Let me remind you chumps, we have a better winning percentage in the Rose Bowl over the last ten( that is 10 for those of you still reading at a 3rd grade level) years then you good gents. I understand this may be over your proverbial heads but maybe one of your genius statisticians can help you out. But before you get your feelings hurt check your facts before hunt and peck such clever responses. Fight On
before you send a comment about the last sentence the grammar is meant to be off, to make your friends who are not the best readers feel they are active participants who are fully comprehending every phrase.
USCFOR LIFE "we have a better winning percentage in the Rose Bowl over the last ten( that is 10 for those of you still reading at a 3rd grade level)" I have to apologize! I thought you were writing this to UCLA fans, but by your quote above, I can see that you want SC fans to understand this as well. Sorry dude!
Williscop, please don't even stand up for UCLA. A real Bruin fan would NEVER root for $c. I mean never, unless it benefited Ucla in som sort of way. You obviously don't know what a rivalry is all about. These sites are for Bruins who bleed blue and gold.
How does not rooting for the PAC 10, of which SC is a member, benefit UCLA? As the PAC 10 goes, so goes the money the universities receive. Why would I not want both teams to come in undefeated and have UCLA beat them? Sometimes you keep your friends close and your enemies closer. You don't think even Nue roots for the PAC 10 when they play out of conference? Wow, did you go to SC?
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm maybe cause UCLA is our rival.. You also stated that you root for them cause they're from so cal as well. A true blue ucla fan will root for ucla..Please other Bruin fans, am I crazy for wanting U$C to lose every game.. Also, why would you ever want them to be successful? Recruiting is a big factor. Why do you think so many big time players have gone to $c throughout the years? When good old Karl was running our program we got the trojans leftovers.. Yeah, your take makes total chance.
Rooting for $C as a bruin is like being a gay Republican. Sorry Williscop, you're in the wrong. Also, if you think that Neu would ever root for $C in out of conference matchups, you're an idiot. No UCLA coach wants $c to win. As a Bruin fan you should be ashamed of yourself
It is entirely reasonable for a UCLA diehard to pull for 'SC when playing an out-of-conference opponent (for example, Ohio State). Whatever aids the PAC 10 aids UCLA.
Williscop, great post above!
A.
I'm a UCLA fan living in Washington, and I have never seen a husky root for the Ducks. I was at a bar watching the Duck Boise St game and not one person there wanted the Ducks to win. That is showing loyalty to your school and your rivalry. UCLA has a national reputation for having soft fans, williscop and amillennialist are the exact reasons why. Also, I assume you don't have the shirt saying "I'm a UCLA fan and whoever is playing SC" do ya. Will the real Bruin fans please stand up??
A real Bruin fan wont use Trojan condoms!!! LOL
Even if Jesus was USC's coach and rooting for them would get me into heaven I still wouldn't. There's your real UCLA fan. The University of Spoiled Children sucks. Period.
"A real Bruin fan wont (sic) use Trojan condoms"
Still trying to use the pull-out method?
Isn't that how you impregnated your mother... twice?
I BLEED BLUE AND GOLD....But..The Bruin V Suc rivalry is like no other in america...because we all come from the same neighborhood..If you are a true Los Angelino how can you root against anything L.A.? I Hate SUC but I love Los Angeles, so as much as it pains me at times I root for suc to beat teams from other cities. My loyalties go as follows, (1)Ucla(2)Los Angeles, (3)California, (4)West Coast.
I used to be a trojan fan, until I realized that everything I stood for and rooted for was a lie, and that everything that was gained was gained through cheating and underhandedness. Then I noticed people were not jealous of me, they were simply just laughing at me, I had become a joke that was all dressed up in cardinal and fools gold. I used to be a trojan, but not anymore, I have been reborn.
Neuheisel brought recruits to watch UCLA get beat down?
It just keeps getting better.
Dear Cutting-off-your-nose-to-spite-your-face,
If USC is doing poorly a particular season, then sure, hope they go winless and lose by 50 to the Bruins.
However, wanting a highly-ranked USC not to lose to an out-of-conference opponent (Big 10, Big 12, and SEC especially) during the regular season is not "softness," it's "common sense."
When USC is up, as they have been in recent history, every one of their wins against teams from other conferences enhances the standing of the PAC 10 in the eyes of those who determine who gets to play for all the marbles. And every time a highly-ranked USC is beaten by the Bruins at season's end, victory over them is made that much more meaningful in terms of both national prominence for UCLA and Trojan humiliation.
As long as UCLA Football's post-season success depends in part on public opinion of the PAC 10, it is shortsighted of you to ever cheer against one of its members when they play out-of-conference during the regular season, even if it's the University of Second Choice.
Now, if we had a real playoff, and post-season play were determined by actual achievement on the field only apart from anyone's opinion, then yes, hope USC loses every game. Until then, hold your nose. The better the PAC does nationally, the better for PAC 10 teams' placement in the postseason, UCLA included.
Unless you have no belief that your program will nationally relevant then you should pull for every Pac-10 team in their out of conference game.
Fake UCLA fans, watch this and tell me what you think. Well, you're probably the same fans that think he had the right to do this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4VXjyDnYs4
issixit, glad to know that we have a couple real fans here. There is nothing wrong with rooting for pac ten teams in non conference, but $c. Come on, were you all single parents raised by your mothers and were never taught man code and how to be real sports fans. Or maybe you choose to like ucla cause you thought their uniforms were pretty. I have lived in Oregon, Washington and Texas and I have never seen other fans cheer for their rival. If any of you pansy Bruin fans told your story to a sooner fan or a longhorn fan you would be laughed at or get your a$$ kicked. Also, half of my family is Trojans and they would die before ever rooting for a team with blue and gold. Thanks fellow Bruins for giving us this soft reputation.
bruindanielson12,
Wanting USC to defeat out-of-conference opponents during the regular season is not "cheering" for them.
By the way, since when do Bruins measure themselves by other schools' fans and their willingness to commit violence?
Don't be such a Trojan.
You Bruin fans are pathetic.. I now see how we took over LA. Half you guys are rooting for us. lmao!!!!! Fight on
Made his point.
Anonymous can't read, obviously.
Must be a Trojan.
