Who reported this? Or did you just get your information off one of the recruiting website forums? You are really turning out to be quite a borrower of other people's info.

No big loss. For a #37 recruit at saftey, he sure is getting a lot offers. A 3star player getting 5 star offers. Good for him. We'll just move on without him.

He didn't want to compete, oh well...

Safety's not really an immediate (or even longer-term) position of need. It seems the coaching staff is focused elsewhere, and I don't blame them for it. Good luck to Earnest.

Recruiting websites have no filters and offer a lot of garbage. I appreciate Jon posting confirmed stories so I don't have to sift through the noise.

Gold, do you think him just wanting to be closer to home is the whole story or what? Are we going to try to get Dargan and another player?

If Jon doesn't mention it then people are going to complain that he didn't even bring it up. He does mention it and then people are riding his rear end. Scout.com has a huge network of staff all over the country. Lighten up people. In case you didn't notice this is a FREE blog.

Well, looks like the wheels are coming off the bus at UGLY. Another Bruin De-commits. Wonder if CRN will be laying down some money on the BCS Championship Game tonight. My money is on Bama.

It's unforunate that it's an out-of-stater.

For the Bruins to step up to be a perennial top 20 team, UCLA has to get more athletes from outside CA and the Pac-10 states.

It's terrible to see CA athletes going to SEC and Big 10 schools, a "reverse commute" is needed for athletes coming from those conference states to Westwood.

Good luck to you Earnest. Would have been nice to see you in a Bruin jersey knocking the shiit out of suc.
