Gordon reportedly picks New Mexico
The Albuquerque Journal is reporting that former UCLA forward Drew Gordon, who left the program in early December, has decided to transfer to New Mexico and coach Steve Alford.
Gordon, who has recently declined all media requests, picked the Lobos over San Diego State, Nevada and Notre Dame.
The Bruins were 2-4 when Gordon left and 4-3 since, including a 72-70 win in their Pac-10 opener over Arizona State on Thursday.

A record of 2-4 with Gordon and 4-3 without. That speaks volumes. Hasta la vista Gordon. Hope to beat you in the tournament some day.
Best of luck to you, Gordon.
have fun trying to get into the NBA Gordon... and good riddance.
Can he take Bobo Morgan with him?
Wow - he picked the team with the best record? Shocking.
And will Gordon's helicopter father be far behind in moving to the Land of Enchantment?
Luckily for Steve Alford that he already knows how to deal with swollen egos, having played for "Baby" Knight at Indiana.
