Leaving for the airport

Hey guys,

I'm taking off for Oregon here shortly, so there will be some radio silence over the next few hours. I'll jump back on when I get to my hotel in Portland.

Thanks
Jon

For the guy above me,

I sure hope that's sarcasm. Have a good flight, Jon.

Jon!...is it true that Zumwalt is announcing his choice of school today???

Portland? Could you bring Owa back with you, please? Thanks in advance.

Geez, Jon! You can't 'can' some entries and leave them with your editor to post while you are in flight? Little teasers about the prize recruits that are going to commit? The sorry state of journalism. :) :)

I guess its a good sign that Zumwalt is announcing before his visit to sc.. but then again james announced before his visit to ucla.

Anon at 2:06 - are your source SI.com? Because they reported Lache to Oregon at noon today.

well seeing that lache has been a heavy oregon lean and would fit right in there, that is not a surprise... but if you have an article insinuating anything you are stating, you should post it, or if you have insider info that has never been reported at least say that...

espn is a joke when it comes to rectruiting information.. i would rely on credible sources like scout and rivals.. rivals does one thing, and that is talent evaluation.. espn tries to cover every base and does recruiting for poorly. rivals and scout have marsh as a the 4th and 8th DT in the class, dude is legit. he did also have an offer from almost every program in the country such as sc michigan lsu oklahoma notre dame oregon.... take from that what you want...

Nicely done...well crafted. I went for it, I'm sure many others as well. Nice touch with the tiny url to throw us off the scent.

From Scout.com ...
At this point, the big question is whether or not Zumwalt actually plans on signing with the Cardinal next week. “I’m still committed to Stanford right now, but I’m not saying anything more about that,” Zumwalt said. Zumwalt added he doesn’t plan on answering any questions about his commitment, but did admit that “it’s between Stanford and UCLA...I’d rather not talk about any of this stuff."

Kids, huh?
