That's bush league. "He wants to be here". Hell, I want to be the President. 'Wants' and 'reality' are totally different. This guy is weak. Let him go.

This must mean that CRN has treated NC better over the last two years than Lane Kiffin had in the past.

That's it ?? C'mon, wtf. Gotta be more information than this. Gotta get some closure on this one way or another. This is BS.

Hmmmm... If Chow wants to be at UCLA so much, why hasn't he stated so?

Not announcing that he's with the new USC staff I get -- he's leveraging for as much $$ as possible... But if Norm really wants to be at UCLA, there shouldn't be any issues. He should just BE at UCLA.

But he's not. He's not, to such a degree that CRN is having to float lies about Mike Leach to recruits that the UCLA administration then has to refute.

And Bruin faithful then take this statement seriously as well?

Gonna be an interesting couple of days.

Probably no hard info until a new deal is signed - Chow probably negotiating for a better contract here.

Maybe it's just me, but what jumps out at me is that when CNC indicates that "he wants to be at UCLA", he may mean "if UCLA can give me a huge pay raise like i would get at U$C". If he does end up across town, the answer may then be "I WANTED to be to UCLA, but int he end, I had to think of my family ....".
I hope I am wrong.

How about a little payback? Junior Seau retiring...bring him in as linebacker's coach.

Guys, what's the big deal? Norm says he wants to be at UCLA and he *is* at UCLA.

Even though CNC is a great coach how much difference would it really make if he left? The graveyards are full of indispensable people.
