Is UCLA working on an extension?
"Rick and I have talked, but UCLA works a little different as a public institution. That's not the concern."

Did you consider the job?
"I don't know - it's always flattering, but there is a real world out here. I've certainly been around long enough to know this is happen."

Was there an offer?
"No. No. No."

What did you tell players?
"Whatever statements were made were certainly not attributed to me. I didn't make it. As far as the players and recruits are concern, nothing was told because nothing happened."
