St. Bonaventure's Di Poalo on official visit to UCLA

| | Comments (10) |

St. Bonaventure center Giovanni Di Poalo - a long time USC soft verbal - is taking an official visit to UCLA this weekend. Di Poalo's name has only recently surfaced as a possible get for the Bruins, and as Scout.com's No. 4 center, he'd be a big pull.

Here's his profile: Di Poalo

Jon, is there anyone else visiting today?

Sign of the times - things have certainly changed for the better since the Dorrell days, when we'd never even dare to go after an 'sc recruit. Good for Coach Neu & the staff. Even if we don't get him, the fact that we're even able to get a guy to reconsider us this late in the game is a great testament to how the coaches are starting to change the mindset of UCLA and local HS kids around.

Go Bruins!

Trojans do anything, immoral or not, so i wouldn't put it past them to send a solid SUC recruit in as a spy to find what is being said about their cheating program. Is that at all within the realm of possibility?
