Unfortunately, that sounds like the ol' we're saying he is not leaving until ESPN reports he's left.

I hope Chow stays, but its not the end of the world.

Jon, staying and not accepted a position are 2 different things. Is he still negotiating? Staying for sure?

Sounds like Chow's just increasing his price.

He'll get it.

Is this Chow courting $UC or the toejams throwing bags of money at him to maintain continuity at the school?

It ain't over...he's still looking for an NFL-type offer from $UC.

It's really getting embarrassing to read this blog to learn what is happening at UCLA. Posts are printed by really brain damaged people who consider themselves as smart yet resort to racial slurs and think that posting on the site of a rival school is somehow interesting. Experience has taught me that when an employee wants to leave it is a waste of time to try to convince him to stay. Norm Chow has been an outstanding offensive coordinator and going back to USC which is facing sanctions and has just hired a new head coach with a really bad reputation makes me wonder what might have happened at UCLA.

We got $1,000,000 for our bowl appearance a few weeks ago. Use some of that money to secure Norm!
