Weekly Answers, Pt. 8
1) How would you evaluate Chuck Bullough's first year as defensive coordinator? What will be his stiffest challenge for next season? - Assistant
I'd give Bullough a C+. At times, his defensive schemes were completely predictable and way too safe. As the season progressed, he started to make better in-game adjustments. In the EagleBank Bowl, he called his best game of the season, with special pressure packages that stifled Temple's passing game. I expect big things from him, though his biggest challenge is simply replacing Brian Price.
2) When is it more time to see more of Lane and Moser and less of Dragovic and Roll? - Critic
With the Pac-10 as poor as it is, Howland needs to play for now until he is convinced there is no now.
3) Jerime Anderson: has potential but legitimately hampered by injury...or just really that bad? - Anonymous
If he gained some confidence, A. If not...
4) It seems nearly impossible to get juco or other transfer football players (see Mobley and Warner) admitted. What is the status of Lazeric Jones' eligibility and admitability? - Admissions Counselor
Jones' grades are not an issue at all.
5) How would you describe the relationship between Howland and Dragovic? - ComradeStable.

8AM? Is this the real Jon Gold??
Jon ...are you gonna talk to Barr today?
And can Howland land that PG recruit from Detroit?
last night's game pumped jon up again - now we're gonna see posts from 8 AM to midnight! ...
for about one day.
sigh.
Perhaps Bullough, who's losing 5 starters, should look at last season's tapes of Cincinnati's Bob Diaco (new DC at Notre Dame)who was forced to replace 10 of 11 Cincinnati starters in 2009, and was able to help the team have an unbeaten regular season.
