Weekly Answers, Pt. 9
1) What is the long-term outlook for Morgan? - Bobo
Out about two more weeks. Then back at it, trying to improve defensively and on shot selection.
2) What's your take on why coach Howland sticks with Dragovic so loyally despite massive underperformance on both sides of the ball? If this year has shown us anything, it's that inexperience can really hurt a team, and other guys could probably make better use of his minutes. - Wyatt
Dragovic has earned his place in the program after four years, and Lane is simply not ready. Howland thought Dragovic was turning the corner a couple weeks ago, but he's had some bad performances, and Dragovic responded with a nice game yesterday.
3) Mr. Gold, I have a two part question, first assuming your prediction is correct that UCLA might finish below .500 does Neuheisel's seat start to warm up and the second part, considering that USC will have a new coach next year, who needs to win the rivalry game more, Kiffin or Neuheisel? Thank you in advance. - Gilligan
Hey little buddy, I don't think UCLA will finish below .500, but at 7-6. No, Neuheisel has two more years before results should be demanded. Kiffin needs the game more next year. Neuheisel, the year after.
4) What is the status on Jordan Zumwalt? - Anonymous
Torn between UCLA and Stanford. Hasn't made up his mind yet.
5) What Pac-10 players do you see getting drafted in the upcoming NFL draft?
OSU: Canfield, Peat. Oregon: Dickson. USC: Griffen, Williams, Byers, Brown, Mays, Pinkard, McKnight, Thomas. UCLA: Price, Verner, Carter, Paulsen, Moya. ASU: Davis. Stanford: Gerhart. Cal: Best, Alualu, Thompson.

Dragovic hustled his butt off yesterday. He was aggressive on the post too.
who's visiting this weekend, Jon?
I second sped's question - who are we expecting this weekend? Any surprises?
Thinking any coach should get four year before needing to show results is absurd, especially at a major program with national aspirations. Look at most any of the better coaches that went into under performing major programs and they only took two maybe three years. Those that took longer, usually didn't pan out. I understand many in the media think that is the way things should be, but it doesn't take that long to rebuild a down on it's luck major program. Now if you want to talk about building a program that never was, that is different.
Why would anyone want Paulsen? I just don't get it...
Per Scout no scheduled visits.
any other commits coming soon joh?
Why isn't Toby Gerhart on your answer to #5? I'm assuming you just forgot. White thunder, baby
In USC's standards, their football cupboard will be pretty bare with the eight guys mentioned going in the draft. If that idiot first year coach beats Neuheisel, it's gotta look extremely bad.
btw: Gerhart is on his list.
Anon @ 1:07 pm, your White Thunder comment is racist.
