I voted for option 2, only because its Roll, Drago and Keefe. Probably the most pathetic bunch of seniors. Roll is decent, but the other two are just bad.

Its bad that Keefe and Drago arent very good, but its worse when they dont show any effort or emotion. They are cowards who dont want to spill their blood or get their jerseys dirty for the Blue and Gold.

Afflalo, Bozeman, Collison, Luc, Alfred, Mata, etc those guys gave it up. They would take charges and fight and claw.

Anyone see this answer from Wolf on his blog:

I know Carroll respected Harbaugh. I would not say he fully respected Weis as a coach. But I know for a fact he did not respect Neuheisel's coaching ability and viewed him as a fraud. There is a feeling among college coaches that Neuheisel is not fully equipped when it comes to coaching. Recruiting, yes. Coaching, no.

Oh no, maybe wolf is a troll too. lets get scared. its no secret, Rick neuheisal is not a guy people go around respecting a lot. He has dirty tactics and his shotty track record and history of NCAA misconduct proves that to be true. He can lie to a few kids and get them to commit, but he has never proven he can coach. You folks are lucky to have chow, b/c if RN was calling the plays ucla would be competing with san jose state for recruits. Just look at what he did in the nfl.

What message are you sending to the underclassmen on the team when you essentially say it's "OK" to give up on a season...?

Losers would look to next season. I highly doubt Howland would look ahead. They are in the middle to end of their season and i'm sure he demands they get better every day. Unfortunately the team is a bunch of role players with no go to guy. Which is why we see the results we are seeing.

pete carroll the same guy who never won a nc without chow is saying he doesn't respect neu's coaching ability? does 4th and 2 ring a bell? neuheisel is just following the carroll blueprint. hire good people and try to have more talent than the other guy. everyone knows that given equal talent, carroll at at best a mediocre coach. lucky for poodleboy there are some stupid people in seattle.

Yes, heaven forbid Neuheisal would do something so terrible as to, say, have an NFL head coaching record of 5-15. Sound familiar?

Good thing for the Bruins that the college game is all about recruiting and the NFL is more about schemes/x's and o's...

so the pundits say...

Right, and good thing Rick has surrounded himself w/ talent like Chow for the scheming...

Exactly, look at what neuheisal did in the nfl. He was the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens, who had some of the worst offensive outputs in recent nfl history while he was there. He got fired along with Brian Billick and it was only then they started to be a decent offensive team. At least Kiffin was able to do more with Jamarcus Russell than any other coach has and look what he did with the development of Johnathen Crompton at Tennessee. That worthless qb threw 28 tds last year.

FOCUS, people! The question was about basketball...

We've already beaten Cal, ASU and Washington (three of the teams above us). Why not play for this year? We aren't winning the tourney, but I think the experience of getting to the NCAAs would be more important down the road than the experience of getting a couple more minutes per game for some of the guys who aren't ready yet. The time to decide to "go young" was two months ago, not with a half dozen games left...

I think its always important to play for now. Every detail counts. You build a habit of playing hard, and playing to win, this matters.

Secondly, Neuheisel wasn't fired form Baltimore. Plus I don't think he called plays there. But I do think his strengths as a head coach lie and in recruiting/salesmen, and getting the kids to believe in him and play hard, as long as you surround yourself with a great coaching staff and let them do their thing, we should be good to go.

Go Bruins

I have an idea: someone should anonymously post something from a Trojans blog that will change the topic. Something that the dim poster didn't realize would just annoy everyone and turn him into the equivalent of a troll...
