Last night's Scout's list...to the crazy speculations on the blog over the last few weeks...to other schools?

Since it's only noon PST, let's wait until the final bell before offering a grade for the work.

Thus far...pretty damn good!

Our biggest need was not OL, it was DT, and we didn't do very well there, especially if Moore doesn't get in to school (and even with Moore, it's a bit disappointing given the immediate playing time available there). Also, a class without a QB is not a good thing, especially when we are down to 3 scholarship QBs, all of whom are in the same class in terms of elibility (a recipe for transfers if there ever was one).

Any reason for the delay on Jordon James and Marquis Jackson's LOI?

Yandall, Innes and Ward are on the OL. Plus Capella and Abele from last year (and maybe Hasiak if he gets it together)

Upgrade to a B...still not enough impact players on DT (but adding Marsh was great) and very light on the OL recruiting. Those were our two biggest positions of need, imo. We should be solid on OL this year (thin on depth, though) and DT will be interesting. We will see how the DT's work out with some coaching/weight room work. Next year, QB, OL and DT in that order

I am a big time USC fan and I have to give UCLA credit for pulling a very solid class.
I am not sold that Neuheisel is the right man to develop the good talent coming to UCLA but he is a great recruiter.
When does Neuheisel have to compete for a Pac 10 title? Thank you in advance.

I'm 'sick' we didn't land Heimuili. Major downer there. Thought he was ours for sure. Hope he loves the weather up in Oregon. Shirley is a good surprise. Well done, Rick. Owa and Jackson will terrorize opposing QBs for the next 3 years. Can't wait to see Jefferson lock down Woods. Our OL is still a concern, but it will improve. Top job, Coach Rick. Now reel in Riley.

The O-LINE was weak and the QB position was worse for UCLA last year.

Is Prince the long-term answer at QB with an offensive coordinator like Norm Chow?
..NO.

Is the O-line going to be better this season?
..not very likely.
