The Sporting News' Brian McLaughlin asked several recruits, ``What was the most creative recruiting tactic used on you?''

Here's what Jackson Jeffcoat, who committed to Texas, said: ``I'm a pretty big basketball player, too, and the USC basketball team sent me a picture of their cheerleaders. It said, 'Enough Said,' at the top.''

Do football players have the option to pull out of the draft like basketball players do? If so, has he signed with an agent-making such a withdrawal impossible?

Of course, this is me dreaming of him coming back, which I know is super highly unlikely even if he were to have the option to do so.

I've answered my own question... he had 72 hours from the day he declared to reverse course... way too late now.

I heard that quote about Stills on TV... don't recall him mentioning UCLA by name there...

Kenny Stills, WR, Oklahoma: "I don't want to name the school, but I've had one tell me that I'm already better than the kids they have there right now. What kind of recruiting are you doing where you'd say that a high school kid is better than juniors and seniors in college? I'm not questioning myself at all, but I have to think their kids are better than I am right now. Some of it is B.S."

If Brian drops low enough, he might get picked up by the Denver Broncos. They need some big body to block up their porous interior.

AYKM?

Man, forging a quote. Sad. Par for the Trogan, I guess.

If he drops much more he will really have to focus on handling his finances a little more carefully, it would have been better if he went to Stanford and gotten a better education.
