1) What is the top recruitment priority for next year's class? - Anonymous
An elite quarterback is a must, and I'd expect them to make a major push for offensive linemen.

2) How will the BB version of Josh Smith make the greatest impact? Scoring, general defense, rebounding, shot blocking, other? - Anonymous
I really think his post defense is going to be crucial. UCLA needs massive help on the defensive end.

3) This year hasn't gone as Bobo planned, yet every time I see him he's smiling and seems to be enjoying being part of the team. So, what is his mindset like and is he really keeping his spirits as high as they seem? - Anonymous
He seems to just be a happy-go-lucky guy. But I also understand he must be frustrated.

4) Is the staff that bummed that they didnt get heimuli? have you heard any chance of ucla getting him after his mission? - MaltBaa
Neuheisel takes a very matter-of-fact angle when talking about lost recruits, at least outwardly. I'm sure that the staff is not happy about it, but they also realize that by pushing for major players, they'll lose some. No idea about his post-mission plans.

5) How does Pullard's commitment to USC impact the recruitment of future Crenshaw players considering that USC rarely had success against UCLA with Crenshaw players? Thank you in advance. - Gilligan
It definitely hurts UCLA. Pullard was a big get for the Trojans, and while I already expected Thomas to go to USC because of the Snoop Dogg Youth Football connection, Pullard going to USC just helps their cause for the running back.

Why do we think that UCLA has made Crenshaw into a pipeline school versus SC? Besides Price and maybe Raymond Carter, who else has the Crenshaw pipeline gotten us that USC wanted? The other players from Crenshaw haven't been highly rated and sought after.

Duffy said:

I don't think Pullard will have much, if any, sway on DeAnthony Thomas following him to USC. They hang out in really different crowds. Not saying they aren't friendly teammates, just saying that they don't appear to be BFFs, not close. The biggest influence is indeed the Snoop Dogg connection, but if sanctions hit the Lame condom boyz, all bets are off.

My prediction: Neuheisel snags the Black Mamba and keeps him in blue and gold.

"Black Mamba"

Isn't that Kobe?

What other Bruins besides Price and Carter are from Crenshaw?

Vacated wins and a couple of lost scholarships. People need to get off the idea of major sanctions coming to USC.

SUC is going to get the death penalty which means the fake university side of the football team will be shut down as well. RIP SUC

Once Eric Scott was no longer part of UCLA football family, Crenshaw pipeline is cutoff. All the players mentioned above was Eric Scott's recruit.

After the slap on the wrist that Florida State was just given for far more than anything USC's even been accused of, who actually still thinks there's a shot at a "death penalty" being put down on the Trojans?

C'mon now, use a screen name so when it doesn't happen we can all laugh at you.

I can't believe that all of the UCLA BB players can't face guard one on one, I mean none of them can play defense. What happened?

They all left early for the NBA. One of the benefits of having a mediocre BBprogram at Kal with a lot of 4 year players on the roster.

Any playing time for Milton Knox next year? Wasn't he highly regarded before the beginning of this season as a hard worker? Seems like he won't be playing much, with James and Jones getting some early minutes.
