Welcome to Signing Day
Here it is, folks, my first Signing Day as UCLA football reporter for the Daily News. I'm a little nervous.
There will be one post every hour on the hour for the next 24.
Some will be Weekly Answers, some recruit analysis, some will be previews of my big signing day recap. I will also be updating the blog with the latest news as it comes, as well as my twitter account at @TheCoolSub and on the Inside UCLA Facebook page. Also, feel free to add me and chat with me throughout the day.
We will have a chat beginning at 8 a.m., and it will remain open throughout the day. I'll be there for hour increments, starting at 9 a.m.

Thanks Jon and a big welcome to you on your first signing day as well. Hopefully this day goes better than yesterday ended. That Hayes Pullard news has got me in the wrong mood to start the day. Really hoping for some good news today.
C'mon Owa, Zumwalt, Heimuli, DiPoalo, Riley, Jefferson, and perhaps a surprise or two. Also a signed letter from all the previous commits of course.

I like the idea...but people that doesn't mean he'll be up the entire time. Its pretty easy to set up a script to post a pre written Q&A at a specific time, no redbull necessary.
re: Marathon reporting
I've been through similar trials, Jon.
No matter what gets said on this board today during the announcements, Jon, just remember that we appreciate your effort and that all the positive comments and high fiving today wouldn't be around if you weren't doing your job well. And for the negative feedback and jeers... keep in mind that those trolls are doing it on a Daily News site so no matter what they say, they're generating ad impressions and increasing exposure for your employer. Thus again, you're doing your job well. Either way, today will be a success for you so don't let anything get you down.
