Weekly Answers, Pt. 11

Check out the latest batch of weekly answers…

1) So UCLA doesn’t get invited to the NIT? They’re fools (and disrespectful)! One of the few times they could’ve had UCLA in the field. – Luca10
UCLA was 14-18. Don’t forget that.

2) How high of a priority are DT’s Antwan Woods (usc commit) and Viliam Moala (usc lean)…and what are our chances of landing them? Also, how many DT’s do you think we take in this class? THANKS! – 909Bruin
I wouldn’t consider either a “priority.” Woods is solid to USC and Moala, well, I’d be surprised if he didn’t end up there. I think UCLA looks for two more DTs in this class, and they’ll find them.

3) Do you really think Bowens will be given a real chance at winning the OLB spot from Westgate? – BruinJigs
Yeah, I think he’ll get a prolonged look.

4) Do you know anything about the number 1 JC WR Recruit (Kenbrell Thompkins) being a late addition for 2010 class? – John
I’d say be cautiously – very, very cautiously – optimistic.

5) Does Howland have enough quickness and talent to run man-to-man? Does Josh Smith have enough offensive talent to change our offesive flow since we had no go-to guy this year? – OC_UCLA
I’m not sure Smith is going to be ready right off the bat, but he is a skilled offensive player. Howland will make the guys play man-to-man next year. It was a one-year experiment.
