Moving On

A visibly frustrated Michael Roll had this to say about why the team has struggled to maintain leads throughout the year:
"To be honest, I don't really care. It's over with. We lost, I'm done here. It's time for everybody else to figure it out."

That's because MR is too classy to play the blame game. He'll leave that to the rest of us (and most of us know where to point those fingers...).

Can you blame the guy? He's the last of the Final Four teams and has seen what dedication and hard work can do. He was able to transform himself from a role player to a 1st team all Pac-10. I have mad respect for Mike, and I wish him the best. I hope this sour season doesn't change the fact that he's a Bruin for life.

Yes, I can blame the guy. Grow up and answer the question like a man, especially since you've had a free education ride for 4 years. If I wanted to read immature whining, I'd read the bile that netsore and his cult at bn spew.

Fans always want the athletes to say it like it is. Props to Mike Roll for doing just that. I like him even more now. He said it like it is. Boom.

Toledo's Ghost said:

Howland's team this year recalls Toledo's the year he allowed inexplicably one player to start all year despite numerous offenses committed by him, while punishing others who did little wrong in comparison. When that happened, the rest of the team gave up.

It remains to be seen whether or not Howland will realize what he's done in allowing Dragovic to start and play maximum minutes despite deserving neither.

In reference to the poster Mike above, Roll DID answer the question! It's extremely clear what he is saying reading in between the lines. This is actually the ONLY way he could answer the question honesty. What else would you expect him to do - say in actual words, "JA is not UCLA point guard material, Drago is a walking brick, no idea why Coach kept playing them and was so stubborn in his ways... etc."?

Hope Roll lands a coaching job or finds a place on some European team. The guy was/is solid. Will miss him going forward. Took a back seat most of his career without whining like many of the younger players do today (some on our team). Then his Senior season he gets his shot and steps up big time... too bad the "other" didn't.

1.) Nikola Dragovic - brick layer. no defense
2.) Jerime Anderson - not d1. so bad Malcolm had to play out of position.
3.) Youth - too many youngsters.

@Nestor
You do a better Nestor than Nestor's Nestor does.
GO BRUINS

"Mike, I, er, I mean, WE don't like personal attacks directed fellow Bruins unless it comes from me, er, us. Consider this a warning."

Funny Nestor impersonation but you forgot to add "This is a community for Bruin fans to share their opinions but I will ban your ass if you don't agree with mine!"

Dude is getting bitter in his old age. We all knew he was thinking it. I didn't think he was the type of guy to say it out loud for Gold to print.
