1) Honeycutt has put up some impressive stat lines - this may sound ridiculous but what are the chances he jumps after this year? (especially given the possible nba lockout) - djdan

Honeycutt is certainly a special talent, but I don't think he's proven to be ready for the NBA now. He doesn't create his own shot and he needs to work on his handles. Yeah, it's a thin draft. But I can't imagine him jumping now.

2) Even with the strong recruiting class, our DT situation still looks pretty thin. Do you have an idea about who starts, which freshmen should get significant playing time, and which current players might switch over from other positions to DT? Thanks in advance. - bruwin5931

Nate Chandler and Donovan Carter are moving to defensive tackle, and if Chandler can get a little meaner and nastier, I think he's talented enough to compete for time. Cassius Marsh should be at least in the two-deep, and I keep hearing Sealii Epenesa as someone to watch out for.

3) Dont know if it has asked before, Whoever suppose to play USC in the pac 10 tourney will get a free advance to next round? or does everyone move up a spot. or does everyone move up a spot? how would it work. - Vins

Instead of there being two games on Wednesday night, USC is out of the equation, and the first seven teams get a bye. So there's only one play-in game, between the No. 8 and No. 9 seeds.

4) Jon, can you break the pod casts into smaller segments? I 'm sure more people would listen to them that way, including those who check site from work. - Marko

The podcast is very new to all of us at the Daily News, and we're considering a lot of ideas that would make the show more user-friendly. Segmenting the show would be a good step, but the first two major breakthroughs will be using Skype so I can record the show with Ben on road trips or through the phone, and the second is having a live show with call-ins.

5) Will Lee move to the 2 and L. Jones start at the 1 next year? Do you like Lee as 1 or 2? - Anonymous

I haven't seen enough consistency on a game-to-game or weekend-to-weekend basis, much less a possession-to-possession basis, to believe Lee is a true point guard. I need to see Jones a little more to make a true observation on his game.
