1) What are your predictions for open starting positions based on what you’ve seen in the first days of spring? – Anonymous
Pretty much as planned so far, but I believe Patrick Larimore is close to earning the MLB spot. I’m also intrigued by Brett Downey at left tackle.

2) It seems like Ray McCallum is our best shot at another 4-5 star recruit. Is there any reason for us to believe that we might get 1 or more top flight recruits for next year? – Bobby Smith
I wouldn’t be surprised if UCLA closed out very well.

3) How is Randall Carroll looking? – Anonymous
Great at times, not so great at others. Needs to work on his hands.

4) Do you think there’ll be any football transfers after spring? How many would you guess? – Anonymous
At most, one, if at all.

5) CRN’s tone on the LT position seems a bit leaning towards starting Kia come fall, is Kia that much further along or is Downey and Abele not yet ready? – Anonymous
Kia looks absolutely huge out there, and while Downey has impressed, I really think it’ll be open season come fall camp.
