Quotables: Frank Gansz

On returning the entire kicking game:
“It’s awesome, man. But the thing is, they’ve got to push. They’ve forgotten about last year. None of that matters. It’s what you do this year. We’ve been consistent, but I’m looking for them to be a lot better. Guys have gone 100 percent, and that’s what we expect. It’s not an unattainable goal for us. We’re consistent, we’re hard workers. When you work as hard as they do, day-in and day-out, you’re going to get results. ”

On Kai Forbath’s decision to return:
“It was a good decision for him, I think. I wasn’t in contact with him all the time; that’s something that he’s got to talk with his family and decide on. Those are life-changing decisions. He knew how I felt about it. Coming from the National Football League myself, he knew how I felt – it’s not just about him. He knew it.”

On the return game:
“Right now, we’ve got a lot of guys out here – we have a lot of guys with speed who can run – and we’re working on it daily. We really have been stressing it, but right now no one is emerging as that guy. It’s going to be very competitive, and I’m even looking for freshmen to come in and compete. We’re looking to be explosive. We can be much better at that. Terrence did a great job for us, but he was like our blanket. You could always count on him, he was consistent, he was a very reliable player, and he did a great job here. Terrence was an excellent returner. But we’re looking to score. We were really good on our field position, but man, we want to score.”

I’m lovin’ the new aggressive attitudes being displayed! I like that our coaches are finally starting to publicly show some of that aggression and assert their individual talents. Anyone out there not yet a believer? Just wait, watch, and see…My BRUINS are coming up BIG!!!
