Ground game coming along

After middling results during the first few weeks of spring ball, the UCLA running game took off on Tuesday. Junior Derrick Coleman broke off a pair of long runs including a line-busting touchdown, and sophomore Johnathan Frankling sprung for a touchdown.

“The main thing they wanted to do is get that downhill running thing,” Coleman said. “That forces the defense to come in, and when they come in, we pass. When we start passing, we can run. I’m liking it so far, but we’ve got to keep it consistent.

“I feel like we’re learning this fast than we’ve learned anything the last two years.”

  • I like, I like it a lot.

Can we have a team like 97-98, with a defense and without the disabled placards

I like the info… but Jon, way way way too much regarding Spring Ball. What about BBALL? There is so much going on and so many open questions surrounding the team. Why no information, updates, questions, thoughts, comments, suggestions, predictions, etc.?

please no more on college BBall. It’s a sham and a disgrace. Until the 1-and-done farce is sorted out, the game should occupy no more media coverage than synchronized swimming or curling.
