Kiper lists Forbath No. 1 K for 2011 Draft
Here's what Mel Kiper had to say in his top-five positional preview for the 2011 Draft:
"Analysis: Forbath wasn't just 28-of-31; the only three field goals he missed this past season were from more than 50 yards, and he went 3-of-6 from beyond 50 overall. He's also 7-of-10 for his career. Definitely an NFL-caliber leg, and a rare junior who could have tested the waters."
And this is why UCLA is picked to finish 7th or 8th in the conference. Wake me up when we've got the top QB prospect or top linebacker prospect...

While yes it'd be nice to see a top QB or LB, this is great for Forbath. He's a nice kid. So I say way to go Forbath!
So happy to have Kai back for his senior year. He will be a great kicker in the NFL for many years.

You know the Bruins football program is on the rise and the trojan program on the decline when all these Bruin haters come on here and bash our Bruins. We may not have the top QB in the Pac-10, but certainly we have the top QB in Los Angeles, and the best LB in the Pac-10.
I agree with Blue Bruin...why don't add that our students have the highest GPA too, will that make u warm and fuzzy too.
Stop telling me we are on the rise...I want wins, and solid play.
