Longshot gets longer
Looks like Terrence Jones is now interested in Kansas: Jones adds Jayhawks to list
Not good news for UCLA, which didn't have a great shot at him anyway.

pretty fail.
he was the one we really needed. A PF. Now we have no one.
looks like hes going with Selby. If only Josh Smith could recruit. . . or Tyler Lamb.
this news is so irrelevant to ucla!!!!!!!!!!!
GIVE US SOME ACTUAL NEWS. who is ben howland focusing on??? where is he at?? is recuriting in the east? is he staying home in the west?
yeah, he was always a long shot. maybe he comes, maybe he doesn't. I say get a couple blue collar types and get busy. Wooden played plenty of times with 11 guys on the roster, '67-68 had only ten.
BTW Baseball finally win one today.
Seriously, Jon, your enthusiasm when you first started was great, but you're missing tons of opportunities to get timely information that would draw lots of traffic to your blog. Who's Howland targeting, tell us about them, talk to them and find out what our chances are to get them, talk to their friends/coaches/family and really find out what our chances are. What's going on behind the scenes with the basketball program? What's going on with assistant coach hires for basketball? Is anyone going to test the draft waters or anyone else transferring? How's the off season workouts going for the basketball players? Come on Jon, lots of opportunities for you.
I really don't see why you're telling us this. It speaks a lot to your journalistic abilities that 3 people are telling you to give us better information. A blind man could use the internet to tell me that Jones isn't coming here. After a season like what UCLA just had, why would he? I would like to know who plan B is. I heard a rumor that we offered Burton, is that true? How many scholarships do we have to offer? Would it be smarter to move on from this year with the smaller class that we have? Please, do your job, be a journalist.
With the NBA's one and done rule, why would an academically challenged player like the talented Jones even consider UCLA? There are plenty of programs where Jones could skate by and still get ready for the pros.
Seriously, "How many scholarships do we have to offer?" Do your own freaking math.
It's a free blog for gods sake. Stop being cheap and pay for another site's services if you want more info.
