Price falls from first round
Round one of the NFL Draft is in the books, and Brian Price is still available. Several teams with early second-round picks need defensive tackles, so Price is almost sure to go within the first 12 picks of the round.
Perhaps more surprising, no USC Trojans were selected in the first round. What say you, UCLA fans?
You really have to be a moron if you don't see the major upside to Brian Price. Wow, whoever gets him, gets a steal.

is it a "fall" if nobody really expected you to be in the 1st round anyway? Gotta say, however, that no SUCsters in the first round is a surprise.
Brian will be picked up in the next round. The absence of Sucsters is a surprise. I read yesterday that only 25% of first round draft picks wind up ever starting a game in the NFL. Like high school 'stars' nothing is written in stone until you've proved yourself on the field. Too much emphasis is placed on the rating system.
luckily, we were all spared the "if Price went to SC, he would have been a 1st rounder bs" that we all wouldve read about on trojan messageboards had any trojans been picked in the 1st rd.
