Looking elsewhere

Hey guys,

I'm doing a big story for the Amgen Tour of California - driving the new route from Palmdale to Big Bear - and I'll be out of commission on here the rest of the day. For any breaking news, check out my twitter page, and the Inside UCLA Facebook Fan Page.

Jon, there's so much going in with UCLA Athletics right now! How could you leave at a time like this? My god, I don't pay good money for this blog and you're going to cover some BS bike race? This is bogus, man! I'd like to have a word with your bosses about how I haven't spent any money to read your blog which you are now abandoning at an absolutely vital time for UCLA Athletics.

Aaaaand scene. I also do "Outrage Over Lack of Offensive Production from Norm Chow" as well as "Howland Needs to be Fired for Last Season."

Jon's real job is to write for the paper, not spoon-feed you clowns info on a blog. You want his stories, read his paper.

Related, Jon, you going to interview Uko's coach soon?

Alex said:

Yes, because I'm totally sure that if he is paid the same as Mr. "You UCLA Fans are Freaking Annoying with your Asinine Questions" Dohn but does half the work, that it would still be called Inside UCLA with Jon Gold.

It is amazing how you sum up in a nutshell the problem with the internet and the decline of quality journalism.

Bruin'bob = Dohn's putz

Jon, thanks for jumping right on the Q&A this week. Oh, wait...

Alex said:

I'm glad there are few posts. I'm sick of hearing the same damn question asked every week with slightly different wording. It's MAY! Wait until August, then things will actually be interesting and he will post. Good lord.

See you in August.

Bruin'bob -

There were plenty of days when Dohn didn't post. Don't try to make it seem like Dohn was breaking news every day. This is the slowest time of year for football/basketball news. Be grateful the Wear twins are giving anybody anything to talk about.
