1) Any update on Remi Barry? What are the chances that he signs with UCLA? And what are the chances that he’s academically eligible? – Spencer
He enjoyed his visit to UCLA, but academics are still getting in the way. I would say it’s unlikely.

2) With sanctions looming sc is still able to convince kids to sign there – could it be they cant make the grade at ucla? is it something else? I understand southern cal has been dominate but they lost their coach and could face sanctions? is it cold hard cash? – theuclan
Before you toss allegations out there like that, consider the recruiting power of Ed O. He’s an absolutely brilliant recruiter, and he works the family better than just about anyone in the country. I think he’s convinced many of these kids that the sanctions won’t be debilitating. If they are, watch out.

3) Have you heard anything about another Stan Hasiak temper flare up? If so, what’s the scoop as you can tell it? – What’s Your Deal
Yes, I’ve heard about it. No, there’s no scoop and nothing to report. As of today, he’s on the team.

4) Who are we pushing harder for, Hundley or Kessler? Have you had the chance to speak to them? – Anonymous
Hundley is the guy now. He won’t be an easy get, and he’s proven that. I’m actually surprised so many of these QBs have committed so early, but I know UCLA is still in the running for him. Haven’t spoken to either, but will soon.

5) How much time do you spend on campus nowadays? – MaltBaa
Not much, given my other assignments, but I’ll be at the baseball game tonight and at junior day on Sunday. When I got this job, I bargained with my bosses that I’d be able to do general features during the offseason, but I’ll do my best to monitor UCLA as much as possible.
