A great human being who just happened to have also been a great basketball player died. I am lucky to have had him touch my life and that of my children.

It is a sad day in Bruinland. It also makes me mad that BSPN shows this news with highlights from games that Coach Wooden lost. Show the highlights from the championship he won. There are 10 of them to choose from, idiot. God, I hate BSPN.

John Wooden was a great coach but an even greater human being. I've been fortunate to have met him several times and listening to him speak. He's touched my life and I'm forever grateful. He's with God and Nell and probably reciting poetry. RIP Coach.
