White reportedly commits to UCLA
Scout.com's Brandon Huffman is reporting that Lakewood (Calif.) offensive lineman Torian White has verbally commited to UCLA. White doesn't have many offers, in fact he picked one up from the Bruins today at the lineman camp, but he's had a strong offseason and is rising in many eyes.
Here's his profile: White

With limited scholies I just don't see why they offered so early. We need dominate OL and this is why our running game suffers year after year. He is rated with 2 stars. Has he played FB very long?
Could be a diamond in the rough. Has nice size for a junior and may have shown some promise in the camps that we can't see. Could be three or four stars by graduation.
Think he was hurt most of his jr. yr.! This young man has been BLOWING UP in camps! Most schools were just waiting to see him play his sr. yr. Plus he lines up against TODD BARR DT(4*) every practice!!!
While I share the same opinion concerning our need for DOMINANT offensive linemen, let's trust our coaches here. No one knows more about that crucial need as much as they. Also, unless you've been at any of the camps, how can we know how this kid has performed?!!! Maybe he truly is a "diamond in the rough" who has been as dominant as we BRUIN fans hope...
kid is a 2* for now, and only because he was out all last year with a sports hernia. Let's revisit his offer list in November and his star ranking in December.
Why are we going after this kid? SC didn't even offer him.
Screw SC.
I agree with TD. We should only offer kids USC's offered, and only after USC offers. SC's already offered a 12-year-old QB. He must be good - where's UCLA's offer?
Congrats to the baby bears on securing another 2nd-rate commitment! Maybe he and the others mean that you will only lose 21-7 in years to come.
