Hasiak ineligible for 2010 season

| | Comments (13) |

UCLA sophomore offensive guard Stanley Hasiak was ruled academically ineligible for the 2010 season by the NCAA and will not be able to compete for the Bruins.
Hasiak will redshirt this season and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
"his is an unfortunate situation for Stanley," UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel said. "I expect Stanley to work hard to ensure this situation does not occur again. We expect him to help us on the scout team this year and work himself into a contributor for 2011."

Is this the one that's been rumored for a while? Or is there another?

this is no bueno.

It's one thing for a coach to suspend a player, it's another for the NCAA doing so.

The NCAA is cracking down all over the nation. Check out the SEC and a party that involved over 50 top recruits with an agent.

What will college football look like with teams from all conferences start becoming ineligible for bowls because of a past recruit's contact with an agent?

Is this guy ever going to play again? Seriously, how is he going to make it the way through the season on the scout team without beating someone up?

Why isn't UCLA suspending him for being academically ineligible instead of the NCAA?? We don't need them poking their nose in here. Didn't we learn anything from the SUC meltdown?

ENOUGH is ENOUGH!!!! Let's get rid of this cancer already. No grades and a head case on top of it? NO MORE!!!! How many chances does he get? He's only going to be a distraction to the team. Some people just can't hang at UCLA. So be it. HTF, can he be ineligible already? Aren't there 2 more summer sessions left to make grades up? I smell a rat.

SEC players weren't the only ones at the agent party. Some are quite close to home.......

This is what happens when you let in a kid with a 2.8 HIGH SCHOOL GPA to places like UCLA, Cal or Stanford, this isn't the SEC or SUC
