Jon it would make this list awesome if you had also included what position these guys are and what star / ranking they were in that position.

  • BRUIN NC

I like that Blackmon, Pomee, Nembot, Byron Moore, Hundley, McClure, and Moreland are there. Wish Mamba and Cody Kessler were going to be in attendance. I bet if CRN could have gotten Wittek or Kessler there, it would have raised Hundley’s eyebrows that he had competition.

What time is the scrimmage scheduled to be?

don’t be so lazy. you can look them up yourself. and no, this isn’t jon commenting anonymously.

How did you get this list?!?!

    Thanks!

“Wish Mamba and Cody Kessler were going to be in attendance. I bet if CRN could have gotten Wittek or Kessler there, it would have raised Hundley’s eyebrows that he had competition.”

So…you think it would be a good thing for the coaching staff to alert a QB recruit that he might have to compete with another QB in his own class for playing time? A good thing?

Glad you’re not our recruiting strategist.

I mean, I could understand if he were deferring indefinitely, but he’s going to decide in the next couple weeks. It’s baffling that you would want him to be thinking they might bring in another QB from the same class.

Todd, glad your not our recruiting strategist either. You’re silly to think that having Wittek or Kessler there wouldn’t intrigue Hundley. And not because he would assume that he’d have to compete against one of them IF they were to sign with us.

  • spedjones

    mamba is there…

  • Todd

That’s a slightly less terrible argument than your first “anonymous”. Slightly.

I just got back from the scrimmage and the mamba was in attendance and looked very friendly with CRN, not to say he is wavering on $c but he and CRN seemed to have a good chat.

I talked to Hundley walking out of the scrimmage and told him he needed to bring his game to Westwood and that he couldn’t beat the weather. I told him being from Arizona he probably didn’t want to play in the snow.

The offense looked stagnant at times but the defense was pretty solid when the ones were on the field.

I think it will be a good year.

    GO BRUINS!!!!

Todd, you are an idiot. We have everything riding on Hundley. You have to play the system. If Hundley can have options, why can’t UCLA? If Wittek and Kessler were still options, it would push Hundley to pick us if that was his true intention. Hundley has seen both places enough times to know where he wants to be.

  • DocBruin

Dalis Bruce is class of 2012 from Northern California. One of the best DB/WR in that class. I understand he and Hundley are cousins.

robear20 If you donate at all to UCLA you better be careful talking to the recruits. You would be in violation of NCAA rules.

  • robear20

@Anonymous, “robear20 If you donate at all to UCLA you better be careful talking to the recruits. You would be in violation of NCAA rules.”

I was joking, I didn’t really speak to him…wait who is Hundley anyway? what site is this? Isn’t this the Dodger blue crew fan club, I was talking to Todd Hundley telling him to bring his game back to LA.

NCAA rules?!, For talking to a major leaguer? Is the NCAA policing MLB now? Frickin trogans ruin everything.

It is a good thing I haven’t donated to the Wooden fund yet this year just in case someone got the wrong idea.
