Heard on the radio this evening that Prince was back at practice throwing a bit on the sideline.

Doesn't sound good, knowing how debilitating certain injuries can be, and football is not a sport for wimps or less-than-full-bore athletes

Are you questioning his toughness? KP is neither a "wimp" or "less than a full bore athlete"? This a kid that came back from a broken jaw, concussion and separated shoulder last year. He will come back from this. The kid is tough and is clearly the best QB and hope for the immediate success of the team.

He may be a tough SOB but he's almost always injured which makes me think maybe he isn't the strongest physical specimen. In the meantime Brehaut gets better every day. Prince = Wally Pipp.

I am going to go on the assumption that Rick and Norm are a little better judges of QB capabilities. They clearly do not want to have Bre as a starting QB. As a backup, fine, but not the starter. I don't know you but I am willing to bet that you are also not even remotely close to an authority on strong physical specimens. Beaker = Pippi Longstocking

Mr. Realistic,

When Brehaut is starting over Prince about a month into the season you MIGHT understand. More importantly, don't forget that Pippi Longstocking has superhuman strength and is able to pick up her horse with one hand without effort. So, thank you, you are right, Beaker = Pippi Longstocking in terms of physical strength. He is more of an Albert Einstien in terms of judging quarterback capabilities.

Beaker:
Really? Big Pippi Longstocking fan? You have lost all right to talk football. If Brehaut is starting in a month we will be in a terrible state and will be looking forward to basketball. Were you at the scrimmage. If you were you would be praying for a strong return and healthy season for Prince. Beaker, I picture you as the assistant lab guy on Muppets with the red hair that basically says, "Mee, mee, mee". Funny to listen to but no real meaning. Pippi or Beaker, doesn't matter. You don't know football. Stick to watching creepy kids movies!

You were the first person to reference Pippi Longstocking, not me, so is it time to look in the mirror before you attack Beaker for an awareness of Pippi? I don't have time to waste with your personal attacks. I'll stay above that and stick to the facts so I'm moving on. BEAKER OUT!....BREHAUT IN!

Brilliant point Beaker...not to mention Mr. Realistic seems also to have an in-depth knowledge of Beaker's speech and physical characteristics. As for Brehaut's scrimmage performance...11 for 16 for 186 yards with 3 touchdowns and a pick. That makes for an NCAA passing efficiency rating of 215. Tim Tebow led the nation last season with a rating of 164 and the all-time NCAA record for a season comes from Colt Brennan with 186. Brehaut..TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN. Based on last night's scrimmage, the only people who should be praying for Prince's return are the players, friends, relatives, coaches, and fans of teams on UCLA's schedule. Be real. Waka, waka, waka!

Wow. Seems to have gone off point with cracking on Prince, kids films and muppets. Point is this, I have been to I think 75% of the practices this month. KP has a better arm, better grasp of the offense, better mobility and better pocket presence than any of the other QBs. CRN and NC agree. They are all in on Prince because they know the talent and he gives them the best chance to win. I want Bre to do well because history has shown that most programs need a strong 2nd at some point in the season. But for a year, I want Prince. Nevertheless, the injuries beginning with the last game of his junior year concern me. His toughness is not in question and he is athletic and solid but he does get injured. This injury was a strange non-contact muscle and hopefully just a fluke but to infer that he is not tough or athletic is asinine. Seriously.
