Coleman released from hospital last night
Just woke up to the message that UCLA running back Derrick Coleman was released from the hospital around 1:30 last night with a concussion & neck sprain. CT scans and x-rays were normal, but there is no timetable for his return.
This is great news. I hope Derrick is able to get back onto the gridiron soon and can continue to contribute to our offense. Well done, Derrick!

If by some cosmic balance that it took a 35 point drubbing to spare Coleman serious injury, then that loss was worth it. Get some rest and get better Derrick!

I just wish someone had knocked me cold during the game (the earlier, the better). That was probably the most painful game Ive ever witnessed in the RB... and Ive seen nearly every one since they moved there.
