Out of their minds?

Rick Neuheisel will try to guard against cockiness as it heads into its matchup with hapless Washington State on Saturday following its win over Texas.
``If we think we're good enough to relax and enjoy the backslapping, we're out of our minds,'' Neueheisel said. ``I think we have bright enough kids to understand that. I know we have bright enough coaches.''

Coach N has a point. It was a good win but the Bruins have a long way to go.

It's true. They really have nothing to be cocky about. If 2-2 is something to be cocky about, it's a sad state of affairs in Westwood.

Agreed. Let's not look like duds after garnering such positive notoriety. UCLA has demonstrated through its wins over Houston and Texas that it can stay focused after disappointing losses, as well as show up against tough teams. To lose to (forgive me) hapless WSU would be two steps back...This game serves as good a test as any to see where our players, coaches, and program stand in terms of maturation. Let's win convincingly. GO BRUINS!!!

Agreed. Ever since the 1998 Debacle against Miami, UCLA has slipped backwards for every step forward with a loss after a huge win. To be a consistient winner and garner media and recruit attention, UCLA has to take care of business against the weaker teams. No let downs.

UCLA should take advantage of this game by working on the passing game. The passing game needs to be improve b/c the Pac 10 teams (except Wazzu) all have balance offenses and UCLA will need to be able to pass the ball to get some conference wins.
