T.A. T.D.
Former UCLA wideout/returner Terrence Austin just caught a 21-yard touchdown pass from Richard Bartel (umm, who?) for his first professional score. Yes, it was a preseason game. But cool for Austin nonetheless, and while he already locked up a roster spot, this can only mean good things. For the game, Austin has five catches for 94 yards and the score.

It's great that all the Bruins drafted (BP, ATV and Austin) are contributing and playing well, but are you really watching preseason NFL games over the opening day of College Football? Did you miss the Utah game?
wow, I'm happy for Terrence...in all honesty I didn't think he would actually make the roster considering his size, but I guess the cliche "you can't measure the size of a man's heart" (or something like that).
OL Mike Harris suspended for K State.
From Jon Wilner, San Jose Mercury:
Another day, another UCLA starting lineman is down and out. (If you’re scoring at home: right tackle Mike Harris has been suspended for the opener, center Kai Maiava is out with a broken ankle, guard/tackle Jeff Baca is ineligible for the season and defensive end Datone Jones has a broken foot.)

Pretty old news that the Mercury is running. We've known Harris was going to be out since the beginning of August.
