Hey Jon -
Great article on Rout 66 this morning on the front page of the sports section. You should read it and take some tips.
@JW: I think you mean Route 66?
Rout 66 is what the team will try to avoid vs. the Longhorns.
Also, which paper's sports section? There are several in the LA area, and many of us live out of town.
'Rout 66-3'...I remember it well.

The LA Daily News is the only paper which sponsors/pays for this blog and Jon's salary, therefore it is assumed that the paper referred to in JW's comment is the Daily News.
The headline on the article to which JW refers is, "Longhorn fans remember 'Rout 66'".
The Big Woof! does not make assumptions based on who Jon's employer is. When I lived in LA, THE paper and sports page the majority of people read and referred to was the LA Times, so yes, I expect the name of the paper.
Now that the Daily News Website has not failed me as it did earlier, I was able to read the article. Note, however, that it was written by an AP reporter, and I'm still not sure "type of tips" JW thinks Jon should take.
I do apologize to him for thinking he got the title wrong, but with all the comments on this blog about food, I thought maybe the article discussed some places along the road for Jon to eat.
