A bit nervous in front of the camera. Still, good to see how humble he is. Definitely will be one of our rising stars.
The kid has a bright future ahead of him if he stays humble and level headed. Get your shine on!
Jon,
Just some constructive criticism on your questioning. It might be better to ask questions using an open ended format rather than saying it in an "either/or" format.
As an example, instead of asking, "Do you feel that you have arrived as a player or do you feel you still need to improve?" you can word the question in a manner like, "How far along do you think you have come in terms of refining your game and what improvements, if any, do you feel like you need to make in order to get you to where you need to be?"
By asking questions in an open-ended style you allow the interviewee the ability to give an answer that maybe gives more of their personal insight rather than being forced to choose one of the options you lay out for them.
I hope that makes sense to you. Just an observation I have made based on the video interviews I have seen you do.
I do like the passion and work ethic that you put into this blog, though. You definitely work hard to provide a lot of content. Thanks!
So i guess the fans and announcers should get ready to scream!
OH!(wamagbe) OH!(dighizuwa)
After one of his sacks or big plays????
Good point BruinFan. You might also ask questions like: "How much Trojan ass do you plan to kick while you're at UCLA?" or "How many body slams will it take to wipe that silly smirk off (USC QB) Barkley's face?" Hope my input helps.
Hot Bruin,
I would probably phrase your second question in this manner, "What do you intend to do to SUC's QB, Barney Rubble, in order to wipe that stupid, snarky grin off his face?"
See, its more open-ended and allows Owa to be able to describe what he would do to Barney Rubble.
Bruinfan is pretty funny...lol
Bruin fan/Hot Bruin,
Actually, I would phrase it more like "What do you have in store for Seantrel...oops, never mind".
Thanks again Jon! I asked for an Owa interview this morning at 7:15 and what do you know? You post one 4 hours later! I must be psychic! Yeah, I wish! How about an interview with Dietrich Riley? I don't know about other Bruin fans, but I love hearing from the freshmen. Keep up the great work!
GO BRUINS!!!!!
I am so excited to see this kid blossom in blue and gold. Get em Owa!
