Television Information Regarding Saturday's UCLA Football Game at Berkeley
From UCLA:
At midnight on September 30, Dish Network stopped carrying FOX's 19 regional sports networks, including FOX Sports West and PRIME TICKET, because they could not reach an agreement with Fox to carry the networks.
As a result, UCLA fans with Dish Network will need to seek alternatives in order to watch Saturday's nationally televised football game vs. Cal on FSN.
FOX Sports West and PRIME TICKET are offered by a number of other local distributors in our area. To get more information, please call FOX Sports West/PRIME TICKET at 213-743-7800.
AND A SECOND EMAIL I RECEIVED:
Millions of Dish Network customers nationwide will be left in the dark this Saturday as UCLA (3-2, 1-1) looks to extend their three-game winning streak when they take on the Cal Bears at 12:30 p.m. ET on FSN's College Football Saturday. The game, which will be televised nationally on FSN's network of affiliates, including PRIME TICKET locally, will not be available to Dish customers since Dish Network dropped Fox's 19 regional sports networks on October 1. Coming off two back-to-back wins vs. ranked opponents, the Bruins could grab their first victory at Memorial Stadium since 1998.
Fortunately, the game is offered by a number of other distributors. For more information, viewers should call 1-877-99-I-PAID or visit www.GetWhatIPaidFor.com.

Greed is bad. Advertising for Dish Network competitors is in bad taste for a journalistic blog.
Sure, I'll just switch over because I don't have a contract or anything with Dish and it's easy as heck to get another company to show up and install their service.
"Cal Bears at 12:30 p.m. ET"
The game is at 12:30 pacific time, correct?
Doesn't matter anyways... I am down in San Diego and FSN won't be showing UCLA vs CAL this Saturday anyways.
Oh, I just wanted to add... FOX sucks!
If you're a Dish Network subscriber (like me), you should contact them and tell them that you expect your sports package to be prorated and/or a credit applied to your account for the programming that you are paying for, but are not receiving.
I don't care who's "at fault" in this situation. Everyone I talk to at Dish gives me canned responses blaming Fox. I DON'T CARE. I just want to watch my damn UCLA football games...
I guess I'll be watching the game on my laptop AGAIN this weekend. *Sigh*
Called earlier they said it was going to air on channel 444 at 12:30 pm. Searched for it and it shows the game as airing!..but dont know if it's true!
It did that last week, too, but then on Saturday, everything on Fox Sports channels were blacked out.
How do you watch on your laptop?
atdhe.net

atdhe.net is NOT as reliable as Front Row or JustinTV, IMHO. I am forced to stream all UCLA football games, and so far things have been pretty cool.
Yes, the game would be on in San Diego. Well, I may have to go hang with the alumni group at La Jolla Brew House.
The game is on Prime Ticket in San Diego (DirecTV Channel 694). I switched to DirecTV from Dish years ago based on superior sports programming options and haven't looked back. .
Blue Bruin, how is the viewing party at LJ Brew House? You should try out the PB Shoreclub. If you can get past the fact it is in PB, it does have a ton of flat screens all around the place with a great view of the strand and water from most areas in the dining area...along with digestible prices. And yes, they would definitely put the UCLA game on.
Hey Coach Thom,
What is Front Row?
It took asking for a manager about 3 or 4 times when I called Dish to finally get a discount on my Sports Package. But in the end they did give a discount!
time to hit a friend's house who has DirecTV
FYI to the computer watchers, Bruinville.com streams pretty much every game, just go to their media forum for the password. Got me through 4 years at school on the East coast. If you happen to be at school somewhere, a pro move is to stream the game in a classroom with a projector. Boom giant screen.
