great...now we can't even keep our just-pretty-good players for more than a year or two.
Honeycutt is better than 'just-pretty-good.' If he hovers around the top 15 draft pick predictions, he is gone faster than you can say, "Two and done!"
How bad is the NBA when OK is good enough to make a NBA roster.
How bad is the NFL when R Moore is being predicted in the first round.
How bad is UCLA when everyone wants out after a couple seasons.
wasn't malcom lee supposed to be good? his stock is 2008 bad
I grew up in Sylmar where Honeycutt is from...and let me tell you...if the $$ from the NBA comes knocking...he will not hesitate.
Sylmar is no picnic and he's worked hard to get where he's going. I wouldn't blame him for leaving early.
It would be because of where he came from, not because of anything UCLA did or didn't do.
Honeycutt has tremendous potential but still needs sooo much improvement in many areas. He can go to the NBA and sit on the bench for some years or he can try to avoid listening to the hype and stay another year (or two) and really improve his game to the point where he can be an instant starter and/or star at the next level.
BruinBurd - nobody would fault him if he split. I'd split if I were him. Almost every Bruin's who's gone early has made millions on the decision. While a no-brainer, it's an unfortunate part of the College BB system.
The $$ will be there whenever he goes.
And they'll be lots more $$$$ if he's a lottery pick!
Recent history has shown that, nationwide, there's a 1-in-20,473 chance that an underclassman picked to go in the first two rounds will actually stay an extra year in college.
So, there's still hope!
Same thing you guys all said about Holliday...If you can't see the potential oozing from this kid then you should be the GM for the Trailblazers!
What "excellent passing skill"
Nelson is much better than Honeyturnover right now!
They're both gone......
i hope tyler goes to the clippers in the top ten and reeves is selected 30th by the lakers. go bruins!
Greeaaaaaaat...just when I was finally looking forward to having a solid basketball team next season. Adios, Honeycutt!
