The bottom line is that Rick needs to pull a rabbit out of his az.z next year or he is gone. 9-3 or 8-4 is what he needs to do. Maybe 7-5 if he beats SC. Otherwise, the "Passion Bucketeer" needs to find another gig.
And next year, I don't want to hear about "injuries" "missions" "academic issues" "pot smoking" "purse snatching" or any other EXCUSE. Hear me, Rick? I am the quintessential Wooden Athletic Fund donor. If Gallop took a poll of those of us that not only support the Bruins, but FINANCIALLY support the Bruins, my guess is that 60-70% will give you one more year to get it done!
Now, don't get me wrong. I like Rick and his passion. I hope he does turn it around. I don't want to start from square one. But, dammit, I am tired of year after year of mediocrity at best -- usually worse -- with all of these embarrassing losses.
And to steal a line from "Scent of a Woman," "And Dan G., where ever you are . . . F.uk.k you, too!
Common UB. We'll be at least 10-2 next year. More passion, more excitement. Trust me.
