The UCLA mens basketball game tomorrow night against Cal at Pauley Pavilion is not live at 7:30 but tape delayed until 9:30 on Prime Ticket.

This is why we need a Pac-12 network. I hate tape-delay bs. I would be more understanding if it was an early pre-conference play game, but it's not! If I could would make the game, but unfortunately can't. Guess I'll have to listen to Chris Roberts.

Wow. How the mighty have fallen. We are tape delayed on Prime - PRIME - ah... common. There's so many things wrong with that, I don't even know where to begin.

A game against Cal at home on tape delay? Is this how far we have fallen? Can we watch on internet live Jon?

Just a reminder . . .

. . . of how far our basketball program has fallen. Wasn't too long ago when every game, except exhibitions, were televised. But then again, it wasn't too long ago when the students actually camped out the night before the game, ran into Pauley, sat through a JV or Women's game, just to get in to see the Men's varsity play.

Unfortunately, for most of the younger Bruins, the banners are just dusty rags hanging from the rafters. They have no idea how Pauley used to rock in the 70's. We made the Cameron Crazies look like Stanford fans.

Oh well, at least the Women's water polo team got new suits this year!

The game is being televised, but it's DELAYED? Fine, if that's what UCLA wants to go back to, well, they control the property.

However, what's senseless is this. FOX is televising the Washington Arizona game live and then televising the UCLA afterwards.

You mean, in Los Angeles, there is a greater demand to see Washington vs Arizona instead of UCLA vs CAL? I don't think so, and if there is, well, maybe that's why UCLA is now giving discounts in order to get donars to the new (and unimnproved???) Pauley.

C'mon Guerrero, are you really becoming so dumb founded that you can't fight for your alumni and fan base? How sad that TV has that kind of control over your athletic department and tells you what to do - even when it makes no sense whatsoever.

UCLA Athletics has had its down times in years past, but overall, I can't remember when things have been this bad. Something is not right and it's now becoming obvious to everyone.

I think you are all forgetting (unless you're too young to remember) that in the Bruins' heyday of the Wooden era, when we were winning national championships, all home games were taped delayed on channel 5 at 11 PM.
