Weekly Answers, Pt. 8

Check out the latest batch of weekly answers...

1) Just wondering if the UCLA basketball team (or any of the other teams) employ a sports psychologist to help the players with their on-court demeanor or game focus? - San Diego Therpaist
I haven't heard anything about that at UCLA, although I remember John Savage saying something about that with the baseball team. Probably would be a good idea.

2) I am also interested as UCLA '64 is about the QB situation. I would also like to know your take on what you think will happen there..Doesn't make sense that Neu would start Hundley and it seems Prince is just not a good risk. Brehaut "seems" to give UCLA the best chance to win. Do you think Neu will waste all the time with the QB competition thing again? Do you think Neu will dive in and concentrate on Brehaut's development and put his total support behind Brehaut since Chow never really seemed to support Brehaut. Solving the QB decision EARLY seems key to the success of the program in my mind. - Bill West
I assume going into camp it will be Brehaut, Hundley, Prince, Bell, depending on Prince's health. If Prince is 100 percent by then, I think he goes in as No. 2, with a shot to win the job back.

3) Any clarity on where the Bruins will play next season? Thanks. - localbruin
Still a bit muddled, but they haven't gotten a definitive answer from the Forum. Some games at the Honda Center, perhaps some at the Pyramid in Long Beach, and I'm told that the Sports Arena is in better shape than thought and could be used tomorrow if needed, though there is obvious consternation given the proximity to USC.

4) Of Mcreynolds, hobbi, mcclure, and Stewart. Over or under 2 - Greg
Under.

5) You had talked previously about the Bruins looking for another QB besides Hundley. I don't remember all the names you threw out, but I remember Gretzky was one of them. Is there anyone in particular they are focusing on, or anyone who looks like a good bet? (would this second QB be a walk-on or on scholarship?) - 5-Hole

From what I hear, the quarterback recruiting has slowed down aside from Hundley, who's already in, and Jerry Neuheisel, who has his official visit this weekend.

Question #4 should have been "Over or under 1.5?". What if Jon thinks we'll get 2, but 1 is more likely than 3? Now we'll never know!

itll be 3 for sure, mcreynolds, hobbi and mcclure are ours to lose. I can promise that.

Hundley should be red-shirted no questions asked. If Rick burns his RS to save his job that would be unnacceptable to me.
