1) Is there only one anonymous or does a guy named Jeff from Tarzana use this name to post? – Clyde
Huh?

2) Hi Jon, are you planning on having any new podcasts? i really enjoy listening to them… – Ray
Yeah, we have one in the works. We’ve been kind of bogged down lately, but we’re eager to start again.

3) I think that there are a lot of players on the ucla team that can make it to the nfl, can you rank the guys you think will make?… thanks – Ray
In term of pure pro potential, the guys I think you can say right now are Datone Jones, Johnathan Franklin, Nelson Rosario, Patrick Larimore and Tony Dye, in no particular order. I would think if Jones comes back healthy and productive, he could be a high pick.

4) Whats to weak sport for UCLA on offense and defense right now? Thanks – Ray
I think mean what is the weak spots, and if that’s the case, there really is no ONE weak spot on either side. What unit was consistent last season?

5) Why is it so hard for Coach Neuheisel to pick a DC? All kidding aside, will fans ever know the true story of why it is taking so long to pick a defensive coordinator? – legalsean
It’s not as easy as “picking” a DC, and that’s what is making it take so long. This has been a very weird process, but if you break it down in steps, I think you can rationalize away anything. They had interest in Fangio, then Fangio/Harbaugh blow up and a whirlwind, week-long courtship ends with them bouncing to San Francisco. You have Brady Hoke going to Michigan, leading Rocky Long to the head coaching spot. And so on and so on. It’s just been a weird deal. At the same time, the frustration is understandable, because the outside perception of UCLA is certainly getting dimmer.
