Just chatted with Jayson Allmond, who said he is going to be taking a visit soon to Northern Arizona and is considering several schools: Idaho, Cal Poly, Portland State, Montana State, Western State, Richmond and Sac State.

Why post this here? Even I have no clue who I am. But UCLA beat Lavin and all is good.

Hey Jon, obviously the poster above doesn't know what he's talking about so ignore him, but can you ask Jayson if he'd reconsider staying at UCLA since UCLA has a new OC that can utilize him and the pistol won't be used exclusively anymore? Thanks.

To answer the above question, Just because someone leaves its not a bad thing. Quite frankly, Jayson would continued to be buried on the depth chart and play mostly only special teams. He was a signing day throw in a couple classes ago and we would be better off having his scholarship back. Its a win-win for UCLA and Jayson A few players leave every year it happens everywhere

Im guessing Jayson isnt enrolled in classes, that would make it pretty tough to qualify academically for football here.

Cal Poly had a great experience with UCLA transfer Dominque Johnson and would no doubt love to have Allmond. One note: the Mustangs run a triple-option offense and the fullback gets a lot of carries and is heavily involved in every play as the first option. Great school academically, too. Good luck Jayson.

TruBruin, really?

"He was a signing day throw in a couple classes ago and we would be better off having his scholarship back"

So what you're saying is that we toss the old "throw in" for the new ones, like half of this year's class. Nice. In a couple years, new "throw ins" like Oliver, McDermott would be out as well. Welcome to Westwood, kids!
