Please, PLEASE, can it with the personal attacks on each other. This is sports. College sports. It's supposed to be fun.
I'm all for healthy discussion, but some of the crap being spewed is just getting ridiculous. Cut it out.

Brother Jon, whatever you do, please do not peruse the comments over on Wolf's blog. They will shock you to your core.
The comments section of Wolf's blog can be a vile place, but just as Christ ministered to lepers and prostitutes, I am called to spread the Good News amongst Wolf's regulars.
Goodluck getting the trolls all to stop. Its a losing battle.
could we do away with the anonymous post possibility maybe? perhaps people would choose their words more carefully? just a thought...

Jon it's an excellent thought and in a perfect world people would take heed.....alas, the world is what it is and the personal attacks will resume in a short while and you'll be back here posting the same request (plesae don't have your editor do it again). Listen, either start banning IP addresses, eliminate the comments portion, or eliminate the blog altogether. This is the only way to stop the personal attacks. You've been doing this long enough that you should know this by now.

Jon, I have to say I'm sorry and apologize because I know I am included in the guilty party. Sometimes it's hard to keep the mouth shut when you just get insulted first. Male egos will always try to defend their pride when stepped on... that being said, I do admit I was staunch and a bit harsh on the guy for his misquote and misunderstanding.
You've already heard this many times...but it will be better for the blog to eliminate the anonymous posting feature, like other sites make you log in first. I also go to BN and BRO and I would say this blog/site is by far the best site (my opinion). At BN, I can't post a comment that disagrees with them, it may be deleted. They also seem to just think the same and you get blasted for disagreeing. Here, I get the most up-to-date "insider" info from the primary source...and you're way better than the LA "Trogan" times...because you provide more detail and better info like from interviews...I'm on a tangent...I will do my best to be civil going forward...and Bruinfaithful if you're reading out there I apologize for teeing off on you. I am a diehard Bruinfan too and will defend my alma mater as you would against misinfo if need be.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Maybe if everyone posted had to include their ss# and bank account, then people would be more careful posting anything.
