Torian White to USC

| | Comments (19) |

Former UCLA verbal commitment Torian White has flipped to USC on Signing Day on Fox Sports West. Big loss for the Bruins, who thought they had a good chance of solidifying the commitment today.

Crespi wide receiver Devin Lucien is the next UCLA target, and perhaps the last, to announce today, coming up in the next hour.

Wow. We are getting hammered.

We get what we can get...

Maybe we need to learn from Boise States, they make so-so individual players into great team players.

I guess now we know why McDermott and Will Oliver committed. Until this Admin makes a commitment to football over the wine and cheese parties, we are screwed. Look at all the guys who were once UCLA leans that went elsewhere.

McClure
Barr
Heyward
Torian White
Grimble

And we had a serious shot with guys like Steward and Hobbi. Mamba wanted to come but couldn't get in.

Somehow, ticket prices will increase and the product on the field will be suspect. I just hope Palcic, Johnson, and CRN revamp the O.

Seriously now, what did you folks expect? A weak head coach, no DC, losing record for the last two years with no real sign of improvement or getting a handle on what was the problem. Good school, good location but your athletic program with major sports is in the dumpster. You reap what you sow...

"Mamba wanted to come but couldn't get in" ????? What!?

You guys are as delusional as Slick Rick!

SC might not end up with Mamba, but let it be known. WE OWN THIS TOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy the bottom of the barrel you sh#t talking Pandas!

"we own this town?" you play for SC? Damn, you must have so much time on your hands. And pandas? Bruins and Pandas are very different. Thought you might learn that in 3rd grade. Smart

I agree with Trogan 70...until the school admin takes sport seriously, the FB and BB programs will suffer. Perhaps it's time for the Bruin fan base to stop attending games, stop buying Bruin merchandise, and stop renewing season tickets. The downside to that is the possibility that the admin will pull all sports completely, leaving only chess and spelling bees as our spectator sports. We are in a miserable state, Bruins. Time to move to Alabama, Texas, or Ohio.

@suc for life, gotta forgive the guy, he's a suc fan, err bandwagoner. He's that guy you see with the Laker car flag waving proudly when they win and in the trunk when they lose.

SAD SAD SAD

Neuheisel set the bar pretty high the past two or three recruiting years. And now this.

Sorry to say, but much at all to be excited about.

Jon - Are you going to do a report card on Neuheisel's recruiting efforts just like you do during the Football Season?

I don't think Rick Neuheisel was making enough calls to recruits. Instead he was too busy lining up interviews for assistant coaches.

By the way, how much are all those pay-outs costing California? No wonder the state is bankrupt.

Good luck with Rocky Seto by the way. He was really great while at USC. ::holding back laughter::

Oldheisel had a golden opportunity this year and he fumbled...with sanctions across town he failed to even make a bowl game. So now SUC is cleaning up recruits right and left.

And we own Mitch Mustain.

Everson Griffen as well.

Looks like SUC's next class reunion is going to be in county.

LAPD - you're right. It probably will be in County. Along with the purse snatching freshman that left your pathetic program last year.

Selective memory huh Mr.Cop? Why am I not surprised....
